“When the govt fails, people step up! First ever computer arrives at my village. Change is possible!”

The post drew swift responses from followers across the platform. One commenter wrote:

“Every betterment is most welcome as far as education is concerned.”

A second user offered a longer reflection:

Origins of the Campaign

Dipke launched the ‘School Thik Karo’ initiative on Independence Day this year, beginning from his native village in Hingoli, Maharashtra. The campaign’s stated aim is to address what he describes as decades of systemic neglect in rural government schools. He has argued that, over roughly 80 years, meaningful upgrades to these institutions have been virtually absent.

On-the-Ground Inspections and Local Accountability

Earlier in the campaign, Dipke visited a Zilla Parishad-managed school in Santuk Pimpri village. During that visit he documented broken windows, blocked toilets, and a shortage of seating — deficiencies he said had persisted for years. He raised each concern directly with the village Sarpanch, who pledged that the Panchayat would rectify the problems within a single week. Dipke voiced cautious optimism, suggesting that coordinated community effort could deliver tangible improvements where official channels had stalled.

He subsequently confirmed that classroom benches had been installed for local students:

“Kids in my village have got the benches in their school!!! This is probably one of the biggest and happiest moments in my life. Thank you to all the staff and people from the village who made this possible!”

Other Fronts: Personnel Action and a Challenge to Officials

In a separate development within Limbala village, also in Hingoli district, Dipke reported the suspension of a school principal he described as an alcoholic. He dedicated that outcome to a student named Abdul and acknowledged Abdul’s father for backing the effort. Abdul, Dipke noted, had vowed the family would keep pressing for school improvements until conditions genuinely changed.

Dipke has also pressed state-level education ministers and department staff with a pointed question: why do they consistently enrol their own children in private institutions rather than the government schools they oversee? He framed the choice as a litmus test of genuine confidence in the public system, implying that the preference for private schooling betrays a lack of trust in their own department’s work.

Through regular social-media updates, Dipke continues to track and publicise incremental gains under the broader CJP school-improvement initiative, positioning community mobilisation as a counterweight to what he characterises as institutional failure.
