Eastern India is expected to remain affected by the developing weather system, with Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, and Jharkhand all projected to receive considerable rainfall. Even after the depression transitions inland, Odisha is forecast to continue experiencing heavy precipitation. Meanwhile, Gangetic West Bengal and Jharkhand may receive substantial showers as the system progresses northwestward. Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim are also likely to encounter heavy rainfall.
