CJP Spokesperson Saurav Das Alleges YouTubers Breached His Home, Calls It Security Threat

Theindiapostdaily.com – On Wednesday, Saurav Das, the chief spokesperson of the Cockroach Janta Party, took to X to voice his concerns. He accused several YouTubers and television networks of sneaking into his residence and capturing footage from within. According to Das, this unauthorized entry constituted both a privacy violation and a significant danger to his household.

Trinamool Congress legislator Derek O’Brien responded promptly to the situation. He announced that he would bring the matter before the Rajya Sabha at the earliest opportunity.

Das emphasized that the individuals responsible for broadcasting the footage could face consequences if any harm came to him. He warned that should anti-social characters target his home because of the incident, the content creators and their coordinators would bear direct accountability.

According to Das, approximately fifteen to twenty individuals showed up at his residence on Wednesday morning. Some of them had already been positioned outside since the night before. He suggested that the widespread sharing of video clips had encouraged troublemakers, creating an elevated risk for all residents.

Meanwhile, Das revealed that he was currently traveling in Maharashtra to participate in the CJP’s two-day gathering.

CJP Strategy Meeting in Maharashtra

The party had previously announced on Monday that its core leadership would convene in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Scheduled for August 5 and 6, the strategy session aims to outline the direction of the youth movement. Founders, spokespersons, and organizational heads are expected to attend and discuss upcoming initiatives.

Before the meeting commenced, the CJP mentioned that its members had consulted various stakeholders. This included fifty core volunteers who were instrumental during the Jantar Mantar demonstrations. Their feedback would help shape the party’s future approach.

CJP to Function as Pressure Group

Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of the CJP, stated on Wednesday that the organization would maintain its role as a pressure group. He explained that this structure aligns with what the nation currently requires. Speaking to journalists ahead of the Maharashtra meeting, Dipke noted that discussions would focus on declining confidence in institutions like the judiciary and media.

Mentorship and Protest Support

Saurav Das confirmed that activist Sonam Wangchuk would continue serving as the party’s mentor. The leadership planned to regularly seek his guidance on various matters. Furthermore, the CJP committed to advocating for the withdrawal of FIRs against students involved in protests related to the NEET-UG paper leak and other examination concerns.

Das also mentioned that legal and medical assistance was being arranged for demonstrators who sustained injuries during recent student movements nationwide.

Background on NEET Protests

Dipke returned to India from the United States in June to lead the campaign against the NEET-UG paper leak. His efforts brought students from various regions to Delhi, where they demanded examination reforms and the resignation of then Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The movement received substantial backing from Generation Z across the nation.

Following weeks of demonstrations, Pradhan stepped down from his position last week. As the protests spread to multiple cities, confrontations occurred in several locations. Police took action against demonstrators in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bihar, filing cases against numerous participants.
