Protests Expand Nationwide

What began as a movement in Delhi has now spread to multiple states. Mumbai and Bihar have seen similar demonstrations with thousands of participants. The agitation intensified after Delhi authorities removed social activist Sonam Wangchuk from his hunger strike site. This happened on the nineteenth day of his fast, drawing support from opposition parties and civil society groups.

“As adults in society, we have the responsibility of shaping culture. A society which prioritises outcomes over effort will seek shortcuts over meritocracy,” Tendulkar stated in his post on Thursday.

The youth organization has scheduled peaceful demonstrations for Friday, July 24. Their main demand centers on the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan following the NEET-UG 2026 examination paper leak. Visual materials have been distributed to encourage maximum participation across cities.

Clear Message to Leadership

Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the CJP, sent a strong message to Prime Minister Modi. He warned that if Pradhan does not step down, the demands could escalate to include the Prime Minister’s resignation. Dipke described the education minister as ineffective and argued that no single official should overshadow the interests of millions of students.

“Modi ji, I once again request you to accept Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation. Otherwise, the issue will not remain limited to Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation alone; it will come for your resignation also.”
