Dipke, addressing followers via a video message, urged participants to remain at the protest site overnight. He highlighted that their presence was crucial to maintaining order during the upcoming parliamentary march.

Dipke also called for calm, stating,

“Our protest and march will be peaceful. I request everyone to follow the rules and follow the guidelines.”

The Delhi Police have announced that the CJP’s “Chalo Sansad” march will proceed without prior official permission. Prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bombay Natural History Society (BNSS) are currently in effect in New Delhi, particularly near the Parliament House and India Gate, during the ongoing session of Parliament. These measures limit group gatherings to fewer than four people, prohibit unauthorized rallies, and restrict the carrying of weapons.

Authorities are enforcing these rules rigorously to minimize disruptions and facilitate the smooth functioning of parliamentary proceedings. The Monsoon Session’s start on Monday has prompted strict oversight of public activities in the district.

Wangchuk’s Hunger Strike Faces Potential Conclusion

Sonam Wangchuk’s wife, Gitanjali J Angmo, addressed the crowd at Jantar Mantar on Sunday night, announcing that the activist might end his hunger strike on Monday if political leaders agree to meet him at Safdarjung Hospital. She stated,

“If political leaders meet Sonam in the hospital and assure him that they will raise the issue of education accountability during the Parliament session, he will end his hunger strike tomorrow.”

Angmo also pledged to lead the CJP’s protest march to Parliament in Wangchuk’s absence, emphasizing the need for supporters to uphold discipline and peace. Her remarks underscored the growing anticipation surrounding the event and its potential impact on the political landscape.

Sonam Wangchuk continues to receive medical attention at VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, where his vital signs remain stable. However, hospital officials noted that he still requires constant monitoring due to the physical toll of his prolonged fast. A recent health bulletin revealed that while some blood parameters have improved slightly, his condition remains under close scrutiny.

Dr. Manisha Thakur, the Head of Department (HOD) in Medicine at Safdarjung Hospital, confirmed that Wangchuk has been observed regularly as the situation progresses.
