Wangchuk Addresses Health Concerns in Video Message
On Wednesday night, Wangchuk shared a video statement, highlighting the emotional support he has received. "Thousands of messages have urged me to stop the fast," he said, emphasizing that many senior politicians have reached out with "love and concern." He also mentioned that some individuals had approached the court to mandate his intake of food.
"My condition is stable enough that I won’t face critical risks in the next few days. All tests conducted so far, including an ECG, show normal results for an 18-day fast. I can continue for as long as necessary," he explained.

According to the latest medical report from the Chief Judicial Prosecutor (CJP), Wangchuk remains in a state of "very weak" health. The report underscores that he is under continuous 24-hour medical supervision. His weight has decreased to 57.15 kg, losing 400 grams in the past 24 hours and a total of 8.9 kg since the protest began.
Key health indicators include a blood pressure reading of 105/76, blood sugar level at 80 mg/dL, and an oxygen saturation of 97%. Hydration levels are described as "fair," with no immediate signs of distress reported by medical staff.
CJP's Protest Enters 26th Day
The protest organized by the CJP against alleged flaws in the NEET examination has extended into its 26th day. The group has also scheduled a one-day mass hunger strike for Thursday, coinciding with their planned "Chalo Sansad" march on July 20. This action underscores their determination to draw public and governmental attention to their cause.
